Many ezines now offering free ezine ads to people. Before they are doing so you have to subscribe to their ezine. This one way useful to the ezine publishers because they can increase their subsciber database.

This will be useful to you too that your ad will be read by their other subscribers who joined like you to get free ads.

Now the questions are:

• If the publisher is going to publish some 20-30 ads per issue is your ad will be visible in that crowd?
• If those subscribers are subscribed only to get free ads what is the posibility of opening the ezines?
• Are the subscribers are your target audience or just joined in the list only to get free ad? If second is correct how many click thrus and sales you could get from their subscribers list?
• Is your ad one of the 30 ads in classified column or you are a winner of special top sponsor ad?

Frankly to tell this type advertising won't work. It is a waste of time to you. You can do someother useful thing instead of sending free ads to ad flooding ezines.

But if you take care of few things you can get fair results from these free ezine ads too.

Target the Ezine:

Search for ezines that are close to your web site theme.

Look for ezines with less ads:

This can be done by subscribing to them. First subscribe to the ezines and see how they are offering free ads to subscribers. If you are satisfied like your ad will be seen by readers then send the ad to the publisher.

Careful before subscribing to ezines that participate in ezine co-ops:

See the list of ezines that are participating in that list. If you are satisfied then you can subscribe to them. Most of the time a single form can make you subscribe to all the ezines in the list. So read their terms before subscribing.

Main drawback of these ezine co-ops is flooding of your inboxes. There will be some 30 or more ezines and you will be subscribed to all of them. So expect little crowdiness in your email box.

Think twice before you do this. Do you get to know to what ezines your ad is going? Or just they say 'Submit your ad to 8000 ezines'? In my opinion don't go for this type of software.

Select few ezines like 5-7 one time and test your ads. You will know how the clicks are coming to you. You need a software that tells you the details of a click.

If your ad gives a free email course or free tips to increase their sales, you will get more clicks than when you trying to sell a product. Needless to say you will increase your subscriber base.
