Always know what is going around you. You don’t have to follow up everything. But you can use some of them to promote your present products or sign up for new affiliate products etc. to increase your profits.

So where can you look for these TRENDS?

1. Active Forums:

Search google for few forums by adding your keyword to it. Example: If your keyword is ‘autoresponder’, do a search ‘autoresponder forums’. You will get a list of forums. Register and check what is going on there. What people are talking about?

2. Article Directories:

Spend few minutes on categories you are interested in and articles that are getting more views. What topics are these articles about? Check ezinearticles.com.

3. Ebay and Amazon:

Go look at ebay and Amazon postings. What the vendors are selling?

4. Friends and family:

Ask your friends and family what is going around … What they are interested in. Discuss about your local news with them. 

5. News Feeds:

Subscribe to news feeds like Google, yahoo, cnet.com and see what the news is about.

6. Google Insights:

Here is a free tool from Google that allow you search based on certain criteria like year, category, your search term etc.
