Signed up for an iKobo merchant in Nov. 2003 and the account was immediatly blocked. Removal of the block required me to fax supplemental identification information (a copy of my Driver's Licenseand a copy of a utility bill) to iKobo. The first time that I tried to have anyone send payment via iKobo, they were also required to fax supplemental identification to iKobo. I sent several problem reports to their customer service email, which was each replied with an automatically-generated link to their customer-service FAQ, which did not function correctly. I was never able to get any resolution on any of the issues that I reported. Finally, iKobo blocked my account AGAIN, and I was told that I'd have to fax the supplemental identification AGAIN to have the block removed. In summary, I think that iKobo is not ready for prime-time yet, and I would not recommend their service.
